CHS PUBLISHES NEW CHART OF QUEENS SOUND TO SEAFORTH CHANNEL

SIDNEY, BC - The Canadian Hydrographic Service (CHS) of Fisheries and Oceans Canada announced today the publication of new chart 3938, Queens Sound to/à Seaforth Channel at a scale of 1: 40 000.  The chart includes large scale insets of St. John Harbour (1: 25 000) and Bella Bella (1: 10 000). This chart incorporates the latest hydrographic survey data and includes updated information on facilities and aids to navigation. 

The publication of Chart 3938 cancels Chart 3787.

This new chart is now available for purchase from your local CHS Chart Dealer or the CHS Sales and Distribution Office.  The price is $20.00 plus PST and GST. A free catalogue of CHS Pacific Region charts and related publications is available upon request.

The Canadian Hydrographic Service is responsible for surveying Canadian navigable waterways and for producing a number of nautical publications, including nautical charts, sailing directions, bathymetric maps and tide and current tables.  These products are commonly used by commercial vessels, commercial fishers, tugboat operators, and recreational fishers and boaters.
