NELSON - Campsites will be open at Valhalla Provincial Park in time for Parks Day, July 20.

BC Parks will be charging an overnight camping fee of $5 per person, per night to stay at the lakeshore sites within Valhalla Provincial Park.

To keep these sites open and continue to provide services to park visitors, a private contractor will clean and maintain the facilities at Evans Creek, Ben Browns, Indian Point, Cove Creek, Cory's Ranch, Nemo Creek, Sandy Point and Wee Sandy beaches. Firewood will be offered for sale as well.
