The Story and Fishing Tips

Excellent pattern for the novice fly tier. Originator of the pattern Mr. Hans Hansen of Kelowna, B.C.

Good pattern for many interior lakes such as Oyama Lk. south of Vernon. Imitates a dragon fly nymph, best fished in late spring and summer.

Fish over weed beds and shoals; trolling with a sinking line or cast using a sinking line and a strip retrieve using two quick 3-4 in. pulls and pause 1 second then repeat.
